Baumatic Collection

The Clifton Baumatic collection was born in 2017, with the launch of the first in-house automatic movement by Baume & Mercier, developed in collaboration with Manufacture Horlogère ValFleurier of the Richemont group. It is a high-performance caliber watch, designed to ensure maximum autonomy with chronometric precision, resistence to magnetic fields and even greater durability.

The Baumatic has a power reserve of 120 hours (5 days), with average daily deviations of between -4 and +6 seconds for the entire duration of its charge. It is resistent up to 1,500 Gauss to the effects of magnetic fields, contributing to its chronometric precision.

Additionally, to increase durability, Baume & Mercier has worked on wear-and-tear prevention, choosing to go for high-quality lubricants to counteract the effects of friction between the mechanical components of the movement.

Inside the timepiece, we find silicon components, which also contribute to the reduction of friction and guarantee the antimagnetism of sensitive parts such as the spiral and escapement.

The Clifton Baumatic collection includes three-hand watch models with central seconds and date, together with day of the week and moon phases, and even a perpetual calendar.

All watches have a classic design, but they are also available with a steel bracelet with triple folding buckle, such as Ref. M0A10400, characterised by a traditional white dial set in a 40 mm steel case, with curved lines and a thin bezel.

One fascinating example - the most complicated model - contains a perpetual calendar in gold and comes at a highly-competitive price.

To make each piece unique, Baume & Mercier offers the possibility of engraving the caseback with a personalised message for free on www.baume-et-mercier.com.
